In 2006 Jesse Rodriguez and Cristy Lopez decided to undertake the adventure of coming to live in California where they dedicated themselves to various jobs and in 2013 they started a company with the purpose of importing fruits and vegetables from Mexico, the star product with which they started was the fresh lime which they began to distribute wholesale in the Los Angeles market and two years later across the Mcallen border to end up distributing throughout the US and Canada. After a time, clients began to call Cristy “The Lime Lady” nickname that she liked very much and included in her business cards, there were several products that they proudly brought from Mexico like tomatoes and bell peppers, but limes were always a characteristic of their business.

Due to the less and less demand for Mexican key limes in the U.S.A. They decided to start dehydrating the key lime in Mexico with the aim of reaching the Restaurant and Food processing industry. Cristy really liked the product which she used in her kitchen every day preparing lemonades and various drinks & dishes.

In 2020, due to the pandemic and quarantine, Cristy had the vision to bring The Lime Lady to all the kitchens in the world because that way people would not have to leave the house for a lime and this would provide them with the Vitamin C that they were recommending so much and thats how The Lime Lady emerged.

There was so much interest and success that she obtained from housewives in both Mexico and in the U.S. that at this time we have several distributors in both countries also every day we reach more kitchens and housewives world wide.

Jesse and Cristy have the vision of turning and consolidating The Lime Lady into a basic condiment that is used repeatedly in every kitchen, so they continue working day after day to achieve it.
